cute but no cigar. microsoft had a stranglehold on the operating system of 90% of the world's computers -- and it used that stranglehold to muscle their way on to every desktop and laptop they could get their OS on. they consistently acted like the thugs they really are. their operating system and their anti-competitive practices and their threats made their success possible. if u want to cheat the system and flout the rules, u can pretty much accomplish anything. the key to the mafia's success is not business acumen - an offer you can't refuse is no offer at all. if jerry yang is really not bill gates (or that sociopath ballmer), well maybe that's a good thing.
