RE: NYC prosecutors back ban on sex predators
Well I am tired of pussy footen around with timid answers to these kinds of questions. I think this is what most of us are really thinking anyway but too afraid to tell.

In my opinion, there is no way to force a sex predator to do anything he/she doesn?t really want to do aside from incarceration. But that is just my opinion.
There are far more sex predators out there than the ones caught and registered... and they are better at it than the ones that got caught. Anyway, where there is a will there is a way, especially regarding sex for women and men. If a person really wants to prowl the internet; registered sex predator or not, they will do it. The fact is... most men, and most women, (even of youth) fit the description of a sex predator at one time or another. We are all on the prowl for sex regardless of age from the time we are 13 years old, it is human nature. The fact is? we humans cannot help it. As a matter of fact, I would rather a more mature individual be with my youthful progeny than a bunch of ignorant punks who just want to screw, and mostly nothing else is on their mind, nor could it be in our culture. There are more sex crimes by youthful individuals that go unaccounted for than there are by those of a mature age by far. It is just that the youth doesn?t count as being a predator the same as an aged individual. There is a wrongful stigma against individuals who are older, mostly men if they are seeking a youthful partner. Though, there is something to be said about barring those punks who carry their punk hood into their late adulthood and have no respect, care, or good things to offer our youth, but those are a minority I think. But a ban serves only to erode all of our freedoms on the internet.
I think a better solution is to teach our children how to detect fraudsters, punks etc., when they are surfing, regardless of age. There is always telling tail signs and questions/answers that will draw out true intention and age of an online potential. It is up to adults to teach our youth to be wise and cunning; this would be a better course of action by those who want to do some good. Bans will never work, it only forces those who want to perpetrate something, to be smarter and more cunning; and change their tactics to fit the situation. The fact is? there are just as many adults who understand and know how to hack around the protections as there are youths, probably more. And of those individuals, most are always on the prowl for that which is more pretty and attractive than they are? even if they are in a relationship. Those who want to make an internet ban are only fools, if their intention is to make the internet a place of safety for youths or adults to play... as it will never be, never could be. For those who are in the know, there are hundreds of ways around protection schemes, they can always be eluded. So it is my idea that there is another more sinister motive in these do-gooders minds and agenda?s. Look deeper.
