RE: NYC prosecutors back ban on sex predators
Yet again, this will do absolutely NOTHING to keep truly dangerous sexual offenders (the ones who force children and adults into sex) off the internet.

The only people who I have seen them getting under these 'sexual offender' laws are people who have consensual sex with teenagers and children, people who take a girl or woman back to their home (with the girl knowing she is going there for sex) and the girl protests against sex (why the BLEEP did she go there in the first place when she KNEW that was what she was going there for!) and mentally ill people who have been made mentally ill by our laws that we say are to 'protect' children but actually end up putting them in more danger in the long run.

What we should do is to repeal all the child sexual abuse and statutory rape laws, and simply start monitoring children's sexual encounters with adults and other children. If we suspect that they have truly been forced into sexual activities (I recently had a little friend of mine who had been forcibly raped by a same age friend, and I had no idea until she told me and her parents, because she showed NO outward signs of that), we should simply take them to a police station and have them hooked up to a lie detector to make sure that they are not exaggerating what happened to them or are deciding something was 'forced' after the fact.

I'll put it simply: I started having sex with adults and older children when I was 7, and absolutely LOVED it. You know why I don't have any problems with that? Because I knew that at any time, I could stop the relationship and I went into them with eyes wide open, having learned about sex from a medical book my parents had at the age of 3.

On another subject..... most of these 'sexual offenders' they are going after are men and women who simply have one moment of weakness in their lives because they have been sexually starved, and force someone their own age or younger into sex.
That is not the definition of a 'dangerous person' and really..... they don't need punishment, society does for not allowing them to find a person to sate their desires with who they are sexually attracted to (child, adult or otherwise) and get rid of some of their 'steam', as I call it.
