This is simply another case of MS trying to subvert the course of just and ethical trading conventions: by *flying in the face of* Anti-trust and anti-monopolisation legislation.
This is a no brainer - a blind man can see that MS is simply trying to increase the *shadow of its pall* over the tech world. If Yahoo are wise they will also spurn any future bids from MS - as the case may well turn out to be.
Rational, possible conglomeration possibilities for Yahoo might at a pinch include: the rumoured AOL/Yahoo amalgamation or a joint venture with a consortium of smaller online services providers.
Were Yahoo to accept further *advances* from MS and therefore relent, i truly feel the entire online experience would suffer the effects of MS's entrenched and suffocating "closed-shop mentality". This is in NO WAY of benefit to consumers/the public at large.
Sincerely. - Posted by: thx-1138_@... Posted on: 02/12/08 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
