decade-old controversy?
One only need to look at the USA's founding fathers to realize that the country is based on anonymous libel, fraud, etc. All of the founders wrote articles anonymously in their efforts to free us from tyrants.

This ability of the US born and those of any citizenry who work for US based businesses to stimulate discussion by making statements they themselves may even believe to be false is how the world is alerted to pet food, drugs and toys from China that are harmful, as well as the next Enron.

In other societies, the tyrants are protected. In the USA they are attached verbally and expected to defend with benevolence and facts to counter. This is what makes the USA great. It is what makes us Web 2.0 ready. It is want ensures our dominance over the world. No other nation on earth has the legal structure in place for the changes attributable to Web 2.0. Changes that mean productivity, wealth and health.
