The real winners of this deal - Excite and Lycos . . . wohoo
It will be a happy day for me when Yahoo is sucked up by Microsoft, at least from the view point of a Lycos user. I have both Lycos and Yahoo accounts, but if this deal goes through I'm leaving Yahoo just like I left Hotmail when Microsoft bought it.
If Microsoft wanted to do some real good, why not buy Lycos to give Google and Yahoo that much more competition. But then again, they are known for taking the best of whats not theres and messing it up.
