Heck, I just read an article here about a Linux security guru taking a job at Microsoft and saying it was a really fun and great place to work! But wait, that does not equate to what you say, so he must be the lier!

Microsoft is far from a standard conservative company you claim. Google on the otherhand is becoming more a typical corporate entity then they were years past, as it has to be.

And it still does not change the fact that the culture between Microsoft and Yahoo are quite similar, so no mass exodus running out the door to work for google as it would appear by the people leaving Google that not everyone wants to work for Google.
