Not sure why Google should be fearful
To me Google is one thing and YAHOO and MSN are another. Sure there all do search but Google does it way better. Google also seems to me to be going in a different direction with stuff like Street View and Google Maps. Sure some cross over with news and such as well as some social networking. Then there is MSN and YAHOO which I think are so similar I can't understand why Microsoft would buy Yahoo except to prevent some other competitor like say Google from acquiring them. So pay big now so Google doesn't get them later for less. Google with Yahoo would be much more damaging to Microsoft as that would make Google everything Microsoft is and more.
