This is quite a few billion of Google's dollars on the line here, so this is not some game they are playing, smirking from behind closed doors as you actually beleive it to be. Any interfearence on their part is punishable by the SEC if deamed inappropriate, so there is only so much they can do.

There will be no switchover to Windows servers. You keep saying it as though by doing so it will come to pass, but thruthfully what they have in place looks to be working fine, so why change? They would have to get all new employees if the Linux engineers did not know Windows.

As I said earlier, there is no embarrassment, no pain, no culture clash, this is business, Do you think Microsoft would care as long as they are making money and taking search share from google?

Trust me, google is plenty worried about this.
