I AM, WHO I AM.
What is the problem with proving WHO you (really) are? I am an American living in Spain, and Spain like most all other countries of the World, requires a National Identity Card. When I moved to Spain, I had to prove that I had the privilege to live in Spain (Visa), and they issued my ID card. In Spain to open a permanent bank account, to get a drivers license, take advantages of official services; you need to show your NIC (ID card). I have not seen anyone?s freedom encroached or taken away, they just say, if you are legally here, Welcome.

America wake up and smell the Roses, National ID is upon US. If we left the doors open, the US would have a population equal to China, and We The People (mostly middle class) would be paying for it. If an immigrant is legal, I have no problem with extending the Privileges of the United States of America, if not Legal, NO.

Oh, by the way, I still pay Federal Income Tax.
