Netscape loss big years ago when AOL acquired it
and much like anything AOL acquired, WinAMP, Time Warner's 'good' financial and business reputation, Netscape code, AOL sat on it and crapped out. They did so little to promote and compete it against the other browsers out there, making it their OS/2 and now it's finally ready to pull life support. People using AOL should have pulled it's life support over a decade ago, IMO. Oh well, that's choice, it exists for those who make it one way or the other.
