RE: FAQ: What the digital TV switch actually means
What's still NOT clear is this:

I currently get cable TV but I don't own a cable box. I don't have Digital Cable. I just have analog cable. My TV set (like most on the planet) is "cable ready".

When the US switches to Digital TV will I then (at the very least) need a set top box to contiune to get what I'm gettting now, or (in the case of non-digital cable) will the digital-to-analog conversion take place at the cable operator.

I know, I'm the only one on the planet with Cable TV that's not digigital, but considering I never watch TV as it is, paying for more channels that I'll almost never watch makes no sense to me at this point.
