Wow!
what YOU typed sounds like the typical playbook cliched diversion tactic employed by those who are wrapped up in reflexively emotional reactions to complex issues.

Let me guess, anyone who "feels" wrong to you must be an EVIL BUSH SUPPORTER right?

Well guess what. I have NO love for the current administration, have NO IDEA what the connection is to THIS debate and think No Axe makes a GOOD point.

Let me spell it out.

-Wrongful Death is a civil charge
-In the interest of "fighting the EVIL COPYRIGHT OWNERS!" the EU has granted sweeping anonymity in civil cases seemingly
-when its the RIAA vs "joe downloader" the masses on ZDNet CHEER!
-what happens when THAT PRECEDENT is applied to a guy killed by the negligence of another individual? The family now has NO RIGHT to know the identiy of the perpetrator? HOW do they sue

Step AWAY from the MP3 issue for ONE second and consider the EFFECT OF THE WIDER PRECEDENT!
