I wouldn't be too sure
Try google they do the same thing. Just type in the name of the content you want followed by "torrent" and you get hundreds of site you can get that content from.

Pirate bay from what I read is a search engine for torrent files same as Google is but pirate bay doesn't do the searches for other stuff.

I could see this case going either way really so I'd really not bet a thing unless you like betting on the flip of coin.
