This is not about supporting drunks
it's about getting it right so that the convictions that do come about aren't tainted and reversible due to defect, either in software or hardware. The law has too many nuisances that allow slipping through scott free and too many that intangible legally innocent to be entrapped. If we clear the code as correct and right in usage, then it is one less important point to slip through, . . unless some people don't want that accountability in law. Could through out DNA and lie detection as well and just go with if you submerge a person in deep waters and they rise back up and survive they are either drunks or witches . . .
