RE: China breaks 'real-time' Internet porn site
It's nice to see someone is doing something about the porn industry. Not that I'm against it, but children are exposed to it because many fail to register respectfully their site in the appropriate category. China is just one of many. We will not see such action in the US as our pornographic lobbyists have more power then the government itself. And because our government stands to profit handsomely from both the porn industry and the illegal drug trade. Get real, if drugs and porn were a real problem, we'd of solved it by now. The underlying theme for China is they want to clean up their act since the Olympics will be hosted there. If it were any other country, they'd do the same. So to receive national publicity for doing what any other country in the same situation would do is absurd. Once the Olympics are through, you can bet those that were detained, arrested and closed will once again reign once the hosting is done. Again, back to business as usual.
