Not too hard but I believe they use random 3rd party servers.
You have to use the proper script in AdBlock Plus. You have to see the patterns that come by experience. Doing a *.swf will block all flash but @@domain.com*.swf will allow it at the domain. Adding to the list *doubleclick* is a good thing.

As for blocking ads on a device that records from TV is impossible. It will have to be cut and spliced later.

Non intrusive ads is like a contradiction. They want them to intrude so you pay attention to them. Even if they annoy like the head on commercial. When someone on Wall St. gets wind of ad blocking, they are going to devalue Google.
