what does microsoft.com have to do with this? That was a terrible example if you were trying to make one. Most people dont' like paying someone else for services. They'd rather do it themselves. But in the case of Google its stealing your data then selling it back to you for a profit. Do you not see whats wrong with that? If Google gets this patent then it will be another way for them to spy on your data and own everything of yours. No thanks, I'll pass on that opportunity.
