RE: Google applies for image text patent
I could be way wrong, but Gmail is better than anything else out there. Spam goes in it's own folder and they are 99.9% right. I run adware and haven't had anything since I switched 8 months ago.

I have this strange feeling that Google is one of the most honest companies on the web and beyond it.

Too many people like MSN and Hotmail.

If they want to come up with OCR that works, more power to them. My GF has brain injury and I bought her Dragon Naturally Speaking and it wasn't enough. So, if Google can do it better, I say great.
