WOW - Could you be any more negative???
Let's see - overall sales up 14% and sales of digital music up 45%?? That's FANTASTIC!!!. Home Depot sales grew around 13% I think. Maybe "piracy" is also devastating Home Depot.

I'm so tired of hearing the drumbeat of the "poor" music industry. That attorney was correct - they only have themselves to blame for stupid business decisions - and despite their gross business negligence, their industry and sales are STILL GROWING! Unbelievable.

Besides, there's lots of legitimate reasons why album sales are declining. For example, I subscribe to Yahoo Music and have for a number or years. They let me listen to all the music I could ever want, and so I rarely if ever buy a CD. Why should I?

Again, the raw data of your article shows an industry that's super healthy and robust despite idiotic management. That's the real story. Why not tell it?
