I like the idea of hanging, especially if it is done by a uniquely male body part. However, they should be sentenced to 'retribution punishment' at the hands of their victims. And, temporarily suspend the 8th amendment (Cruel and Unusual Punishment). Maybe they should be punished like those crooks at Enron should have been punished - boiled in OIL.
