- So true, so right
- I'm old fashioned, don't socialize too much in network and let the kids to use the social networking for their life but as an infrastructure architect I need it in my work. Once, and only once!, we were cut of and it did cost the company a lot of money because someone was trying to get contact and couldn't so a huge contract did go to competitor who answered. Social networking is more than just a kid thing, it is the one modern way to keep in touch, even more if you can start a video contact through your social networking. At first I was blamed, why didn't you talk to the person? How could I because of the new, great corporate rules all access was blocked! As I said, it really did change after that but it still did cost a lot for my company. In computer business you use all the ways to keep in touch. A hard reality for some management but we can't personally be in all places (round the world) at the same time and social networking frees us to have much wider audience any time and almost anywhere. Think business!
