Monetize?
So Google will now create a Wikipedia competitor ... and the distinguishing feature is that it lets authors "monetize" their contributions?

Haven't we got more than enough monetization already? Since when do Wikipedia authors want or expect to monetize their contributions? I can't wait to see how Google monetizes the myriad contributions of millions of contributors, some of whom write entire articles, and others of whom make their contribution by formatting articles so they're indented and punctuated for legibility.
