In any communication that has the potential for being either overheard or intercepted, use meaningless code phrases. Recently, our local PBS station aired the movie "The Longest Day", a 1960's film about D-Day. Several scenes portrayed resistance fighters listening to radio broadcasts. While transmitted in the clear, the messages were meaningless to all, except for specific resistance groups. So, if you have nefarious intentions, expect what you say to be intercepted. It is unfortunate that one has to adopt such a mindset, but when communicating your thoughts today; "the wires or airwaves, have ears.
