Oh that is SO funny
Now I do not go through Verizon, I go through Cingular/AT&T. And I find this utter BS. If Verizon can store the SMS text messages then why in the world can't cingular?
Why would I want that? Because for the past year or so I have been arguing up the wazoo with them about unsolicited messages that I have been getting from random phone numbers and e mail addresses. With porn. Some of it containing what could be considered child porn. And I did not sign up for cr@p like that.
Cingular gave me ration of shyte about getting a refund for just those messages and getting them stopped. And at one point told me they could not refund any more of it because they had refunded a lot of money for it over the months and they believed that I had done nothing to stop it. I had had my text messaging turned off, media messaging turned off, picture messaging turned off. At one point I had everything turned except inbound and outbound calls turned off and I still got messages. And Cingular charged me for them.
I had to go to the police and now every time I get one of these I have to send it to them. I am on every do not call (or text) type of registry there is.
I know that doesn't have much to do with it but here is my point: Cingular told me that they do not keep a record of messages and NO wireless provider (including Verizon) does. They told me this because I asked them to take a look at what was being sent to me because it is disgusting. And I was straight up told that that would never happen.
And it gets better. I asked if I could forward to them some of the messages that I had been getting and I was told there was no way for me to do that. Even though they send me at least one or two messages a month when it is time for me to reload my minutes.
When I get my taxes I'm probably going to go with someone else. Any recommendations?
