in the usa the judge is thr triar of fact.
not the jury.
the judge is the triar of law.
not the jury.
the defenswe should have had the myspace page at hand, to present to the judge as relevant for the creidbility of the state's witness---who is not a "victim" in this case until a jury says so.
a bunch of damaged people? every one of them.
the juror who argued that the alleged victim's weoght should be given more weight than someone elses? another damaged person.
it isn't the system that is brokenn. it is us.
the headline here is misleading. the profile set no one free, jailed no one.
bad datamining techniques skewed a test result.
