And this is why our legal system is broken
We assume that we can get a jury of uneducated peers that will only accept the evidence that is presented to them on a golden platter. They are not allowed to associate or research more independently that which pertains to the trial.

This is both hurtful and helpful to the process. We then restrict ourselves to either the best defense money can by and the lowest budget that the state can afford.

I don't much like the legal system and hope I am able to avoid being caught up in it.
