What I find sad about Black Friday
is that, like most any fiscal quarter, most companies see a profit level that's equal to or slightly larger than the prior year as a failure. Yes, it crazy, that maybe the toy industry sees purchasing leveling off, . . .why oh why can't consumers buy 100 times more than they did last year? Why can't we give up some food and utilities money to buy more merchandise? Your kids will think less of you if you don't beat people up on Black Friday to buy validating items? Maybe if the major corporations owned one or more of each venue where people spend money, electronics, cars, fuel, cable, phone, toys, etc etc, they can see how people balance their money and time over all of these things and they could still pinch a penny from us.

And the big winner, ebay and other resellers, as they take the low low priced items and resell them near or above retail, . . . and the shipping companies that profit no matter what.

Happy Shopping Season . . . . . oh wait, . . . the holidays were about something else in the olden days . . .
