High Prices = High Piracy
Do they not realize that the cost of a CD or DVD might actually drive piracy? I mean the DVD encyption was decoded, samed with HD-DVD ... With the current outrageous cost of software, music, and movies it does not suprise me people pirate things.

You figure if you buy blank CDs or DVDs by the hundred you will pay roughly $0.40 per DVD and roughly $0.30 per CD dependant upon brand, type, and speed. And that is just the normal consumer ...

If the costs were slashed in half of all software, music, and movies, people would probably buy more. I know I don't buy lots of new movies, I wait until they are on the $5.00 rack at Walmart, very few movies are worth $20.00.

Have the movie companies also considered that if they put out better movies, people might buy them, not alot of the garbage that has been released over the last year?
