Junk patents
Have you read the body of the patent? That patent is so vague and by itself useless. Someone should patent putting a period at the end of a sentence.

Software patents like this one and the Verizon patent over using a server to look up a phone number based on a IP address just serve to drag down progress and we all pay for it.

Someone recently tried to claim that XML infringed on their patent for storing diffent data types in one file even though the origins of XML, SGML, preceded the patent by a decade.
