As far as I can tell...
...the decision is correct. The juror in question did not discuss the case while it was ongoing, as much as he may have wanted to. Rather, he waited until after it was all over, at which point he was at liberty to say whatever he deemed appropriate.

Says me, even if he had reported the case on his blog while it was ongoing, that alone should not have been sufficient grounds to void the conviction (assuming there is no evidence of prejudice), though such behavior should earn the offending juror a substantial fine and/or some time in jail.

But that's just what I think, not necessarily what the law actually says.
