With your cork board analogy. Most places I have seen do indeed review what is out up and if it doesn't meet community standards is removed.

The same is true of traditional media outlets. That is why there are censors in almost every media venue. If your argument is that its to big a problem to monitor it all, then like a night club that can't control its patrons, you close the doors.
