You invalidate your own argument.
Agreed, people have mailed theats, manifestos, what have you to newspaper and tv for years. Sending something in the mail is more like using the internet than anything else. However, that is where the simularity stops. In the case of the traditional press there are checks in place, specifically nothing is "published" without human review, such is far from the case with YouTube. (Also the problem they face with copyright.)

Obviously these are some very sick people and more than anything want the world to pay attention to them. Denying that attention has always been sound policy with almost all self respecting press venues. YouTube (Google) has taken the stance that anyone can post anything, there is no review, and if it causes any hardship of any kind they walk away from all responsibility. Oh yeah, if the press is bad enough they will "eventually" pull the posted video, but only after the harm has been done.

Sorry, but I don't believe this should be allowed to continue and that YouTube (Google) stand up to their social responsibilities, after all, they make a great deal of money off that society.
