- Posting to Forums Affiliated with Press is Legally Allowed

Just to clarify. For US citizens, no policy at Whole Earth or elsewhere can stop one from posting online when the forum is affiliated with a press. The reason for this is perhaps not as obvious I have always assumed it to be.
When a Whole Earth executive views wrong doing, like food tampering, the US form of democracy requires that the executive get the word out so that other citizens can avoid the tampered product. The US citizen can not be fired for getting that word out and interestingly the citizen doesn't have to prove that the product has been tampered with. The suspicion is enough.
The US citizen can even play devils advocate meaning he might know that the product is safe and wish to get others to vocalize that to stop rumors.
This is the check and balance our country established when it was founded so that the government need not be relied upon for consumer protection as is the case in many other governments including many modern (EU) democracies. In the USA's form of democracy we look to ourselves and each other for protection from wrong doers rather than making the always-wrong assumption that our government can not be corrupted and will do that job for us.
The thing is - the poster can not represent his business. He or she can not say something like "as an executive of Whole Earth I am qualified to say that you should avoid all products from China, until the FDA inspects them." He has to say, "as a US citizen I wish to alert all readers the you should avoid all products from China, until the FDA inspects them."
An added protection that is afforded by our form of democracy is anonymous alerts. The USA benefits as few if any other nation can by Web 2.0. It is the economic engine that assures us world dominance for at least a decade or more. But we have to fight to preserve this as I have just done with this post.
