- OpenSocial opens new can of worms
- Destined to fail for one reason: Google. Google has proven over and over again they do not know how to make good applications be it for the desktop or the web. Their lack of knowledge and skills in developing anything useful is going to hurt them on this front. More and more people are being driven away by the Google name. Add to that the fact they want to harvest your personal data and sell it back to you while you don't make a dime off of it. I can't see any good coming out of this and like other Google projects this will be short lived and phased out very quickly. Too many people playing with office toys there and not enough real talent to work on projects. So sad.
