As the article says, they could use this to provide access to older movies...movies that are likely out of print.
Also, the inventory at your average Walgreens isn't huge, but a system like this could give customers access to thousands of films without taking up additional shelf space. As a customer, I may very well rather have a burned copy take a few minutes than jump in my car and drive to another store in the hopes that the movie I want is in stock. - Posted by: rchopra@...
