The government has the responsibility to protect it's citizens and that includes suspending civil liberties in order to irradicate the threat to your safety. We are still a Democracy and if the people feel civil liberties are being suspended beyond what they should be, we can vote people out of office and get the policy changed. You can't do that in a dictatorship which is what we are fighting to prevent in Iraq. so get your ******* out of a knot and relax, you're still alive when 3,000 unsuspecting people got killed, because we had red tape in the government's way to protect us from the attack.
