No, I am saying that there are times when the survival of the nation becomes paramount. Suspending habeus corpus for gitmo detainees is the right and correct thing to do. Personally, I think they should have all been tried and executed by now. As it is we pamper them too much. Interning the Japanese was a smart idea if you understand what happened in Hawaii after Peal Harbor (the fear that Japanese American loyalty was suspect did not happen in a vacuum). Arresting a senator who was deliberately trying to bring about the defeat of the Union was correct. As was suspending Habeus Corpus. If Roosevelt had been president during Viet Nam, Jane Fonda would have been shot as a traitor.

But, of course, if we had not already been emasculated by political correctness and multi-culturalism, 9/11 would never have happened in the first place. The mess we are in now is a symptom, not the problem. We have lost the truth that the American judeo-Christian, capitalist, federalist system is the most advanced and superior civilization and culture on the planet and the hope of mankind. And that has made us unable to withstand the onslaught of a competing ideology that is its complete antithesis.

In any event, I'm done with this thread. The ignorant mush-heads who think freedom means watching porn and legalized pot and that Bush and Christians are the greatest threat to the world run rampant on these boards.
