listening to the song on the radio

So this is the same and vhs was on tv shows. if you listen to the song on the radio and record it. is that illegal? what if you record it and share the song is that Illegal?

if the music is played across the airway anyone can record it and if it is shared- are you saying that if the other guy could not record it,I am making it illegal by recording it??

or am i making what is played on the radio illegal just by listening to it.

with technology the way it is today, getting an idea if the songs are any good is the only way to go.. It is way to easy to buy a bunch of junk music..

plus Itunes .99c a song is outrageous, I was listening to a comedian who said just think a 30gb ipod would cost How much from Itunes?

I went out this weekend to buy some 70s music.. spent close to 50 bucks and got maybe 15 songs that where what i like..but it was still cheaper than giving .99 to itunes. so if i give the rest to my wife am i stealing???

I grew up in the 60-70s with a tape recorder and a radio.. so was i stealing all those yrs ago???

i am not saying people that download hundreds of songs a day and share as many are doing this legally. but there has to be a line somewhere and not at the bottom of the list...
