"Cybersquatting" is the same as any other speculation
What's the difference between getting a domain name registered before XYZ Corp gets around to it and buying land where XYZ Corp wants to build a new factory?

I find it ironic that the Bill Clinton who supported and signed the law against Internet speculation is the same Bill Clinton who was partner in the Whitewater real estate speculation disaster.

Just because you want something doesn't make me a criminal for getting it before you did.

What is needed is to stop "drive-by" cybersquatting. This is a easy fix -- eliminate the automatic refund of registration fees for "buyer's remorse." If the squatters have to actually PAY for what they are doing, there will be a lot less of it.
