It already is like that over here.
Remember the coverage of the Seattle WTO protests? It was portrayed as if an angry mob was sacking the city, but the only damage that can be attributed to the protesters was ONE broken store window. Almost *all* of the violence was started by the police, and almost *all* of those injured were protesters who were doing such things as sitting in the street chanting slogans. The police were responsible for almost all of the violence, yet the media portrayed the police as the victims. Ditto for the RNC protests.

Another example is the so-called "free speech zones" which ensure that the leader of the 2000 coup, Bush, never has to see anyone who disagrees with his policies. All demonstrations are pushed blocks away from where he is, naturally for bogus "national security" reasons.

The only difference between the military in Myanmar and the police in the US is that our police fire rubber bullets into crowds instead of metal ones.

The problem isn't that politicians favor foreign people over US citizens. The problem is that they favor their pocketbooks and power over US citizens.
