Maybe my humor (not humour) would play better with you if I told it after I shouted a round in a Perth pub with you? I would hope (and expect) so. And, even though I know how you pre-judge all Americans (i.e prejudice), I would do it. I like Australia. I like Australians. And, I count a number as friends.

You and I have a lot more in common than you know. Quite frankly, I getting really sick and tired of some Aussies sounding off about "The Americans", mate. There are 300 million of us and only 79,000 work for Microsoft. Only 20-something percent think George Bush is doing a great job. We do not all think alike. You are part of a group in Australia in your 20 million that think we do. Well, bully for you.
