It is time to LEAVE MICROSOFT ALONE! - Part 2
.
The DOJ has severely punished Microsoft for its bad behavior and abusing its former monopoly power. Microsoft is struggling to survive. It is time to leave Microsoft alone now. If we don't stop punishing Microsoft over and over, the company is at risk of disappearing off the face of the Earth.

Microsoft does not monopolize the software industry anymore

Only people who do not understand the most basic financial accounting principles will misunderstand the financial charts and graphs shown below. These numbers give only ignorant people the false impression that Microsoft has more sales revenue than its next 8 largest competitors COMBINED. Come on, people! This is "Accounting 101" we're talking about!

Should Microsoft be punished for working so hard and running its business so efficiently that after paying all executives and employees salaries and stock grants, and paying all of its bills, that it clears $178,000 in profit per employee every year? Are we going to punish hard work now? What is wrong with some people?

Top software businesses, ranked by sales (3):

RANK COMPANY REVENUE PROFIT EMPLOYEES REV/EMPL PROFIT/EMPL

1 Microsoft $51,122M $14,065M 79,000 $647K $178K

Economic Productivity per Person

I cannot understand why some countries around the world might be jealous of Microsoft's economic performance. Microsoft is struggling to survive! The simple fact is, Microsoft Corporation is no longer a monopoly, does not enjoy monopoly profits, and does not dominate the software industry anymore.

Economic Productivity per Person (PPP), by country (2)(3):

RANK COUNTRY PPP X = $20K (U.S. Dollars)
