As soon as Microsoft agrees...
to data mine for the governments represented by the EU, their problems will be over. I'm sure the US is opposed to this and thus raised the ire of the EU. This is why the DOJ is trying to quiet the EU.

I can hear thr DOJ now, "We will share any pertinent info we get with members of the EU. If only you will back down from harrassing Microsoft."
