I can just hear Billy, Stevie, and Ozzie in a meeting.

Balmer: Gosh Trucking Darnit how could we let Google get so far ahead of us in search, especially considering that they use Linux, this is extremely embarrassing.

Ozzie: We were too busy protecting our monopolies and raking in the money to realize that search was important. Besides that, all of the smartest people work at Google, we get the leftovers that are not that bright.

Gates: I have heard enough!!! Don't you understand, we need to leverage the monopoly to shut them down.

Ozzie: But we might get fined Billions the next time . . .

Gates: And, so the TRUCK what. We will make an extra 20 billion in the process. What is a few billion in fines. And, we get to keep all the market share gains.

Balmer: He is right, lets not worry about breaking laws, talk like that just wastes time.
