I expect they did that to cut down on the royalties: I also suspect that they'll return to Europe after this whole mess is sorted out and the CRB gets its head handed back to it on a golden platter.

Terrestrial radio is exempted from the Copyright Royalties Board rates, and that is simply not right. They also play the music the CRB's so angry about.
