Thist must be a joke?
This has to be a joke -- Google, the company that collects more personally-identifiable information about individuals than any other company on the planet pretending to be interested about privacy?

It is quite obviously that their LACK of any concern about privacy is starting to get them into trouble and they need to PRETEND that they are going to do something to protect people. I liked the phrase about the industry policing itself. What a load of SH_T.

Companies CAN'T police themselves -- they'll push the limits as far as they can get away with and then only back off if they are forced to.

Funny how the "do no evil" people start to bend the definition of evil when lawyers and accountants are shown billions of dollars.

Guess the boys need to safeguard the cash pipline to update their Boeing 767 Party Plane to something better...
