If you want it private keep it private
This is yet another example of the KISS principal. For the unaware, Keep It Simple Stupid ? KISS. If you don?t care who in the world sees your information eventually regardless of the claims of privacy, security or any other such claim, use web based information storage services. IF you DO care about your privacy and who will see your information, keep it locally. I am not an advocate for Microsoft by any stretch of the imagination so whatever application you are using, use it locally. If you must share, then choose when and who you share with. At the very least, the provider of web services has access to your data. All their employees eventually will see something of someone?s data regardless of any claim to the contrary.
