Google denies ownership of users' words

Well, Google should make the document clearer and make it obvious that: if you share the document with others, that you are not giving them permission to make it public to the world, only the named recipients. But, this is really just a red herring. You own any and all documents created with Google Docs. Google is not about to start sending your documents out. They realize what a big disaster that would be.

And, documents are a lot safer on Google Docs than on your average virus infested Windows PC attached to the network. Google actually uses a secure OS.
