Well, make the list private, then - I know Amazon.com allows you to set it to be private. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most social networking sites allow their users to set privacy options? If Rapleaf is only collecting public info, then if you make your stuff private it won't be a concern.

Always, always be careful what you put on a social networking site. And always make sure your privacy settings are set - if they aren't, it's safe to assume your information is public.

Most sites are public by default - and often people forget that.
